We recently saw an ad Dr. McClendon placed in the Peace River Shopper seeking New Patients. We are new to FL having moved here from NY a little over a year ago. The ad states "Insurance accepted" We have dental insurance through my wife's former employer. The Plan is CSEA #1000 Sunrise plan, and it pays pretty well, for most dentists to take it in full. We called in and gave the girl our info and she phoned CSEA but did not ask them for much info on what they paid. She just told us it was a " fee , schedule plan" and they could not accept it. Without even knowing what they paid for a filling, crown, xrays etc...Needless to say we are disappointed in them.
Dr. McClendon has very steady hands and is excellent at providing pain-free dentistry. I am very satisfied with every interaction I have with him and with his pleasant, highly-trained staff. I find Dr. McClendon's assistants to be extremely helpful and accommodating. I recommend Dr. McClendon without qualification.
