Decided to check out the Nav-A-Gator Bar & Grill. Everyone there is so nice. They have gift stores and a small museum. Outside is set up for a good time with a stage, tables and games. Definitely worth a drive. The boat ramp is right there! It's just a really cute hometown bar & grill.
They also have air boat and kayak tours.
Great food and atmosphere. We usually come by boat, but you can come by car. They have seating inside and outside.
I was hesitant to go because usually any place that has a gift shop and sells food, is really not a good dining experience. I was happily surprised. The food was great, the waitress was great, and the atmosphere was fine after I got used to it.
We'll definitely go back, and don't let the kitchy decor put you off. They're serving some pretty good food, and at reasonable prices.
I assumed it was going to be a hot and humid lunch, when we opened the door, but it was surprisingly comfortable, with the ceiling fans going.
Great place to meet people and have group meetings. Food and service was great also.
While there went on river boat tour. Great people awsome trip. If you are in the area it's a great tour with sights and Infomation!
The menu was not all fried food, either. I chose to have Fish & Chips - I substituted delicious fries instead, but hubby chose shrimp on a skewer and he loved them. He ordered blackened shrimp, and I figured they'd be burnt to a crisp in fireball seasonings, but they were cooked to perfection - tender and not at all over seasoned. Even I could handle the spices.
